ROCKVILLE – Mary (Mayme) Greene, 69, of Rt. 4, died at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday at her home. Born Jan. 25, 1897, in Parke County, she was a daughter of Robert and Mary Martin. Mrs. Greene was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are five sons, Paul and Rex, both of Rockville, Carl of Harleyville, S.C., Byron of Rosedale and Dean of South Bend; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Brown of Rockville and Mrs. George Jarrett of Urbana, Ill.; three brothers, Leo Martin of Rosedale and Ewing and U. C. Martin, both of Rockville; 20 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Barnes’ Mortuary here. Rev. J. O. Trousdale and Rev. Vaughn Sewell will officiate. Interment will be in Memory Garden here. Friends may pay their respects at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
